- How does Zest Care work?
Zest Care is a fixed-price membership that covers repairs and replacements for your home appliances. Tell us what you have, we give you a fixed price, and you’re covered from day one. Cancel anytime.
- What appliances are covered?
We cover washing machines, dishwashers, fridges, freezers, ovens, hobs, cookers, tumble dryers, washer-dryers, microwaves, and more. Check our full list during signup to see if your appliances qualify.
- How long does it take to get a quote?
Less than two minutes. Just tell us your appliances and their age, and we’ll give you a fixed price instantly.
- Is the price really fixed?
Yes. Your price is fixed for 24 months from the day you join, regardless of how many repairs you need. No hidden fees or price increases during that period.
- What does my membership cover?
Your membership covers unlimited repairs, parts, and labour. If an appliance can’t be repaired, we’ll replace it with a new one at no extra cost. Emergency callouts are covered within 24 hours.
- How do I claim?
Call us or use the Zest app to report a fault. We’ll arrange a repair visit within 24 hours. No paperwork, no claiming back — it’s all included in your membership.
- What if something is already broken?
If an appliance is already faulty when you join, we can still help. We’ll arrange a repair first, then your care can begin once it’s working normally again.
- Are there any exclusions?
We exclude cosmetic damage, maintenance, and appliances over 20 years old. Very old appliances may affect eligibility — we’ll confirm during your health check.
- Why does the price change based on the number of appliances?
Our pricing reflects the cost to service and support more appliances. The first three appliances are included in your base price (£27/month), then each additional appliance is £7/month.
- Can I pay annually?
Yes. Annual plans save you a month’s worth of payments. Pay upfront and enjoy the discount.
- What payment methods do you accept?
We accept Direct Debit, Apple Pay, Google Pay, PayPal, and credit/debit cards (Visa, Mastercard, Amex).
- Can I cancel anytime?
Yes. No exit fees, no long-term contracts. Cancel whenever you want, and your membership ends at the end of the current billing period.
- How quickly will an engineer visit?
Most repairs are arranged within 24 hours. Emergency callouts are prioritised, and we work with local engineers to minimise waiting times.
- What if my appliance can’t be repaired?
We’ll replace it with a new one at no extra cost. It’s part of your membership.
- Can I add or remove appliances later?
Yes. You can update your appliances anytime. Your price will adjust based on the new number of items covered.
- What happens during my annual check-in?
We review your appliances, check for any emerging issues, and perform preventative maintenance. This keeps everything running smoothly and saves you money in the long run.
- Is my data safe?
Yes. We use industry-standard encryption and comply with UK data protection laws. Your information is never shared with third parties without consent.
- How do you manage my Direct Debit?
Direct Debit payments are protected by the Direct Debit Guarantee. If there’s an error, you’ll be refunded immediately by your bank.
